Errore aggiungendo un ruolo su Windows 2008 server PDF Stampa E-mail

Installando RMS su Windows 2008 in ambiente ADDS 2008 nativo alla richiesta di un utente con possibilità di leggere la Directory ho l'errore:

"Your user account does not have permissions to query Active Directory Domain Services. Please use a different account"

Pare che il problema si verifichi solamente con l'aggiunta di Right Management Services...

Keyword: Windows 2008, Active directory, Server Role

"Error message when you add a role service by using Server Manager on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008: "Your user account does not have permissions to query Active Directory Domain Services""

Consider the following scenario:

  • On a computer that is running Windows Server 2008, you add a role service by using Server Manager. For example, you add the Active Directory Rights Management service by using Server Manager. To do this, you specify a service account.
  • You type the user name of a domain user account in user principal name (UPN) format instead of in the username format or in the domain\username format. For example, you type Indirizzo e-mail protetto dal bots spam , deve abilitare Javascript per vederlo
  • The domain user account that you type exists and has the "Log on as a service" user right.
In this scenario, you may receive the following error message:
Your user account does not have permissions to query Active Directory Domain Services. Please use a different account

CAUSE
This problem occurs because Server Manager cannot recognize a domain user account that has its user name in UPN format.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, use the domain\username format when you type the user domain of the domain user account. For example, type example\someone.

If the service account resides in the same domain as the computer that is being configured, you can also specify the user name of a domain user account by using the username format. For example, you can type example.

In realtà ho risolto mettendo il nome utente nel formato FQDN\<utente>....
